Finance at Hawkins Motors

Buying a car is exciting and there are various ways you can achieve it. You can either pay for it outright or take a finance option – depending on your situation.

Ways of funding your vehicle purchase:

Cash purchase:

You pay the full price of the car with your own money. This option is popular but less common now.

Conditional Sale / Hire Purchase:

You pay a deposit and then monthly payments with interest until you own the car. This option lets you drive a newer and better car. You can adjust the deposit and payment term to suit your budget.

Personal contract purchase PCP:

You pay a deposit and then lower monthly payments for a fixed period. At the end of the period, you can either pay a balloon payment to keep the car, return it or trade it in for a new one. This option gives you more choice and lower costs.

Personal loan:

You borrow money from a bank or other lender and use it to buy the car. You pay back the loan in monthly instalments with interest. This option gives you more flexiability and the loan is not secured against the car.

Our sales team are SAF approved and fully experienced in discussing funding options with you.
